Warning - Reading
This warning is accurate for me because people often tell me that I am 'dangerous' when reading and everyone knows not to disturb me.

Façade Poem
"Façade Poem"
I seem to be like a stone that is common and typical,
But really I am bedrock that is hard to dig up.
I seem to be like clay that is easy to mold and shape,
But really I am cement that is hard and cold.
I seem to be like a tree that is caring and open,
But really I am poison that is cruel and unforgiving.
I seem to be like a rose that is confident and beautiful,
But really I am a twig that is self-conscious and hiding.
I seem to be like the sun that is brighter than the world below,
But really I am a star that is never to be found.
I seem to be like rain that is flowing with everything else,
But really I am like magma that is bubbling beneath the surface.
I seem to be like a sentence that is short and easy to read,
But really I am a poem that is deep and hard to understand.

The Law is Hard, but it is the Law
This is something that in the series The Mortal Instruments they all live by. The government enforces that saying this in that series. It means that, yes, sometimes you do not want to always follow the rules because they are hard, but it is the law.
Be Careful: Fictional Story
Deleine was leaning against her hand in class, trying to suppress a yawn and forcing her eyes open. She mentally pleaded for the bell to ring, praying that she will be able to go home and play video games, and then give her nails the coat of red paint that they definitely needed. This was the last day of school. Last. Day. The bell rang just then, blaring unpleasantly in her ears, but to her, it was the sweetest sound she had ever heard.
She grabbed her bag and quickly rushed out of the building. On her way out, she bumped into someone.
“Sorry,” the girl said gruffly and picked up the books that she was carrying. Deleine couldn’t help but stare at the girl. She had long, brown hair that became lighter in the ends and sea blue eyes. Her face had harder lines than mine and she had much longer hair, but features were similar. Brown hair, blue/green eyes, and the same pinkish lips. Aside from that, they didn’t look much the same. She had long bottom eyelashes, were as Deleine didn’t. She looked about her age, but that wasn’t certain. She wore very different clothes from Deleine’s designer jeans and fancy black shirt, both gifts from her recently celebrated birthday. Instead, she wore jeans and a shirt that looked like it was a quote from book.
The girl looked up at Deleine, who was still ogling at her. “Are you just going to stand there?” She asked, and when Deleine made no move, she shifted her books into one hand and held out the other, “Well, I’m Madeleine, but everyone calls me Maddie.”
I smiled cheerfully, “My name is Madeleine too! Everyone calls me Deleine though.”
A small frown tugged at the corner of her lips, and all she said was, “Odd.”
Deleine couldn’t help but be intrigued Madeleine-Maddie- and she took a breath to speak, but she was interrupted. “Look, as entertaining as this is, I need to go.”
“Where?” Deleine asked, confused, “It’s the last day of school.”
Maddie cocked her head and smirked, not unkindly, but not friendly either. “Yes.”
“So...there’s nothing afterschool for you to go to,” Deleine said, thoroughly confused.
“That’s for me to know and you,” Maddie pointed a finger to her collarbone, “to find out.”
And with that, she walks away briskly into the school. Now after this peculiar exchange, Deleine was baffled. She wasn’t a very curious person, and if Maddie wanted to get into trouble, fine. It’s not like she cared about this girl that looked strangely like her. Right?
And with that, she made her decision and followed Maddie. After a while of roaming the school campus, she stopped in front of the empty auditorium, and gestured for her to go inside. She should have felt terrified- she was normally terrified if she saw a spider- but she couldn’t bring herself to fear this girl.
The door closed behind Maddie and Deleine turned around to see her. Maddie was leaning against the wall and studying her carefully. After a moment of tense silence, she spoke.
“I suppose I owe you an explanation,” she jerked herself off the wall.
“Yeah,” Deleine hated how her voice cracked.
Maddie fiddled with her hair before saying, “You and I are alike, to put it one way. Do you ever feel emotions that you can’t explain? Fear? Sadness?”
Deleine nodded quickly and looked at Maddie, who was regarding her with an odd expression. “Those are my emotions. When I feel strong emotions, you feel them, and visa versa.”
“‘Visa-versa,’” she said quietly.
“Yes. When you feel strong emotions, I feel them too. And that’s what I came here to talk to you about.”
She put her hands on Deleine’s shoulders. “I need you to be careful.”
“Careful?” Deleine asked.
“Yes. When you get hurt, I get hurt. So, I need you to be careful, that’s all.”
“That’s all?!” Deleine said angrily.
“Can you do anything besides repeat what I say?!” Maddie mimicked her tone.
“You mean you’re just going to leave,” she was surprised.
“It’s okay, you’re not going to remember this, but you’re going to follow my warning,” She put a hand on her head.
“Goodbye, Deleine.”
